If you go into any busy office in Dubai, you will find the workers spend most of their work hours sitting in front of computers. Some are headed to meetings, back to back, some are working on reports, answering email or taking customer calls. An uncomfortable chair can quickly become a daily frustration if you spend a lot of time at a desk.
Buying an office chair isn’t just about picking something that looks good beside a desk. The seat should feel comfortable, the backrest should provide enough support, and the chair should fit the person using it.
From mesh chairs for everyday desk work to PU leather models for private cabins, Dubai has plenty of options. Here are ten office chairs worth looking at before you buy.
Top 10 Office Chairs in Dubai You Should Consider
1. TaskPro Mid Back Mesh Chair
Don’t want a bulky chair taking up half your workspace? The TaskPro Mid Back Mesh Chair is worth a look.
Its mid-back design makes it a sensible option for regular desk work. The mesh back allows air to move through instead of trapping heat against your body.
It’s a chair to consider when you need seating for several employees without filling the office with large executive chairs.
Suitable for: Small offices, computer desks, and home workstations.
2. Obsidian Mid Back Mesh Chair
The Obsidian Mid Back Mesh Chair keeps things fairly simple. You get a breathable mesh back, an 8 cm thick foam seat, and fixed armrests.
It also has fixed lower-back support and adjustable seat height. The reclining mechanism locks in one position.
If you’re buying office chairs for staff who spend most of their time at computers, this model deserves a closer look.
Suitable for: Staff seating, shared offices, and everyday desk work.
3. Obsidian High Back Mesh Chair
Some people prefer their chair to support more of their back. That’s where the Obsidian High Back Mesh Chair comes in.
It offers a taller backrest and headrest, making it different from the mid-back version.
The mesh construction also makes sense in Dubai, especially when you spend hours sitting inside an air-conditioned office.
Suitable for: Managers, accountants, and people working long hours at desks.
4. TaskMax High Back Mesh Chair
If you regularly adjust your sitting position, take a look at the TaskMax High Back Mesh Chair.
It comes with an adjustable headrest, lumbar support, and adjustable armrests. You can make changes according to your height and working position rather than sitting the same way all day.
This chair is worth comparing with other ergonomic office chairs in Dubai.
Suitable for: Designers, IT employees, and full-time desk workers.
5. Sanctuary Ergonomic Mid Back Mesh Chair
The Sanctuary Ergonomic Mid Back Mesh Chair gives you more adjustment options than a basic office chair.
You can adjust the lower-back support, armrests, seat depth, and reclining position. That’s useful when people of different heights need a chair that fits them properly.
The chair also has a thick foam seat and mesh backrest. Its reclining mechanism provides four locking positions.
Suitable for: People who spend most of their working day sitting.
6. Ambassador Mid Back PU Leather Chair
Not every office needs mesh seating. Some people prefer the appearance and feel of an upholstered chair.
The Ambassador Mid Back PU Leather Chair has a padded seat, PU leather covering, and aluminium armrests with cushioned tops.
It looks more formal than a typical workstation chair and can sit comfortably alongside an executive desk.
Suitable for: Private cabins, management offices, and executive seating.
7. Nova Nest Mid Back Mesh Chair
The Nova Nest Mid Back Mesh Chair is another option for anyone who doesn’t want a large office chair.
Its mesh backrest, fixed armrests, and adjustable seat height cover the basic requirements for regular desk work.
The chair has a very simple look so it would not look out of place next to normal office desks or computer workstations.
Suitable for: Startup offices, smaller workspaces, and employee desks.
8. Radian Mid Back Mesh Chair
The Radian Mid Back Mesh Chair is worth checking out if you prefer fabric seating with a mesh back.
It has a padded foam seat, fixed armrests, adjustable height, and wheels for moving around your workstation.
The shape of the mid-back also makes it easier to put around smaller desks without crowding the office.
Suitable for: Computer workstations, home offices, and shared desks.
9. Lyra Mid Back Mesh Chair
If you’re browsing mesh office-chairs in Dubai, add the Lyra Mid Back Mesh Chair to your comparison list.
It follows the mid-back seating style that many offices use for employee workstations.
Before buying, compare its seat size, available adjustments, and materials with other models in the same category. Even chairs that look similar can feel quite different once you sit in them.
Suitable for: Individual workstations and compact office layouts.
10. Majestic Mid Back PU Leather Chair
The Majestic Mid Back PU Leather Chair is worth looking at if you prefer an upholstered chair rather than a mesh design.
A PU leather finish can work well with wooden desks, meeting furniture, and more traditional office interiors.
Compare this chair with other models, based on seat padding, armrest height and reclining mechanism.
Suitable for: Private offices, manager cabins, and formal office spaces.
What Should You Check Before Buying an Office Chair?
Don’t choose a chair just because it looks expensive or matches your desk. Check a few things first.
- Seat comfort: Sit on the chair and see whether the cushion feels comfortable.
- Back support: Your lower back should feel supported without forcing you into an awkward position.
- Height adjustment: Your feet should rest comfortably on the floor.
- Armrests: Choose a chair that lets your shoulders stay relaxed while typing.
- Material: Mesh allows airflow, while PU leather offers an upholstered finish.
- Warranty: Check the warranty terms, especially when ordering chairs in bulk.
If you’re fitting out a whole office, think about desk height and how much floor space you have when you order.
A chair that works for one person might not suit everyone. That’s why checking measurements and adjustment options matters.
